Why it matters

Centralised HVAC typically accounts for 40-60% of a hotel's or office's electricity bill. A neglected fleet uses 20-30% more than a maintained one and exposes the business to costly shutdowns (a hotel with no AC in July = guests leaving). Recurring mistakes we see: filters not changed in years (40% loss of efficiency), a compressor running outside its envelope because the charge is wrong, faulty indoor units ignored because the rest compensates. Equipment and systems we service

We work on every format commonly installed in Morocco.

  • VRV / VRF systems (variable refrigerant flow)

    The most advanced solution: one outdoor unit feeds dozens of indoor units (up to 64 on some Daikin ranges). Each zone controls independently, with simultaneous heating and cooling (Heat Recovery). Ideal for hotels, office towers and clinics.

  • Chilled-water chillers

    For very large projects (hospitals, malls, upscale hotels): a large chiller produces cold water (7 °C) distributed through insulated pipework to fan coil units and AHUs throughout the building. Complex maintenance — must be handled by specialists.

  • Air-handling units (AHU)

    Full air-treatment equipment: filtration, heating, cooling, humidification and dehumidification before discharge into ducts. Essential for clinics, pharma, mass catering and malls. F7-F9 filters, sometimes HEPA.

  • Rooftop units

    Single rooftop block combining cooling, heating and fan. Ideal for big-box retail, warehouses and gyms: fast install, simple maintenance (everything in one spot), ducted discharge to the space below.

  • Fan coil units

    Fan coil units fitted in rooms (under-window, ceiling, ducted or cased). Connected to the chilled/hot water network from the central chiller or boiler. Independent regulation per room.

  • BMS (Building Management System)

    Central supervisor for the whole system: per-zone temperature reading, remote on/off, operating schedules and fault alerts. Big energy savings when properly configured.

    Initial audit and study

    In-depth technical visit: review of the existing fleet, actual performance, energy consumption, state of filters, units and ductwork. We deliver an audit with weak points and options (upgrade, maintenance, redesign).

    Design or upgrade

    New projects or extensions: thermal load study, tech choice (VRV, chiller, rooftop), copper or duct network design, electrical hook-up points. Upgrading an existing fleet: outdoor unit swap, adding a BMS, insulation improvement.

    Installation and commissioning

    Outdoor units mounted on anti-vibration pads, copper network run with professional brazing, vacuum pumping, refrigerant charge, BMS configuration, then unit-by-unit testing.

    Scheduled preventive maintenance

    Under annual contract: quarterly visits covering filter cleaning/replacement, condenser wash, gas check, sensor calibration, pump testing and BMS log review. Written report after every visit.

    Emergency repair 7 days a week

    A shutdown at a hotel or clinic = direct loss. Emergency repair 7 days a week for contract customers, prioritised ahead of regular appointments. Diagnosis, repair or interim workaround while waiting for parts.

    Follow-up and continuous improvement

    Annual summary report: number of faults, electricity consumption (kWh), parts replaced and recommendations to improve energy performance. Goal: lower total cost of ownership (TCO) over time.

What's the difference between VRV/VRF and a chiller?
VRV/VRF works with direct refrigerant between units (no water). Best for hotels and offices up to 5000 m². A chiller produces chilled water distributed through the building — best for very large projects (hospitals, malls). The choice depends on floor area, budget and architecture.
How often should a hotel VRF be serviced?
Minimum: quarterly (4 visits/year) for indoor units, twice a year for the outdoor unit (before summer, before winter). Filters cleaned monthly. Outdoor condenser washed at least twice a year (more often in dusty environments like Ouarzazate).
Can we add units to an existing VRF?
Yes — provided the outdoor unit has spare capacity (we check this against the system report). If the outdoor unit is maxed out, we add a second unit in parallel. A prior thermal study is essential.
How long does a mid-size hotel VRF install take?
30-50 room hotel: 3 to 6 weeks depending on how tricky the copper routing is and building-shell progress. 100+ room project: 2 to 4 months. We coordinate with other trades to avoid delays.
Can the system be controlled remotely?
Yes — modern systems (Daikin Cloud, BACnet, Modbus) allow supervision and control via a mobile app or web platform. Useful for multi-site hotels or facility managers. We roll out updates and connect your equipment.
What energy savings can I expect from a modern system?
Gap between an old fleet (R22, >10 years, no Inverter) and a modern Inverter VRF with BMS: 25-40% savings. Payback in 4-6 years depending on usage intensity. Free energy audit on serious projects.
Do you offer a contract with emergency response?

Who handles the electrical and building work?
We cover: mechanical and refrigeration install, electrical connection from the dedicated breaker, and testing. Structural work (openings, heavy supports, main-power cable pulls) is done by the electrician or builder. We coordinate with them.
