Air-conditioner repair

Fast intervention for cooling faults, gas leaks, fan, outdoor unit and electronic issues.

Fixing an AC is a diagnostic job before anything else: one symptom ("it stopped cooling") can hide ten different causes — from a clogged filter to a burnt compressor. Our technicians carry manifold gauges, an electronic leak detector and a clamp ammeter to trace the root cause without guesswork. We repair every format — wall split, multi-split, cassette, ducted, VRF — on every supported brand, with a 2-year warranty on the work. Common faults (water leak, noise) are usually resolved on the first visit; deeper faults (gas leak, electronic board failure) may need a second visit once the part arrives.

Why it matters

Ignoring a small fault turns it into a big one. An AC that hums or trips the breaker should not be run again: the compressor may be on its way out (2000 to 8000 MAD to replace). An unnoticed water leak damages plaster, paint or even hidden ceiling wiring. An unrepaired gas leak means replacing the entire AC months later. Intervening early saves hundreds of MAD, and a real diagnosis (not guesswork) makes the difference between a repair that holds and a fault that keeps coming back every two months.

Equipment and systems we service

We work on every format commonly installed in Morocco.

  • Core cooling faults

The AC runs but doesn't cool: undercharge from a leak, clogged filter, iced-over evaporator, or a compressor losing pressure.

  • Indoor water leaks

Drips from the indoor unit onto the wall or furniture: drain blocked by algae, incorrect slope since install, or an iced-up evaporator suddenly melting.

  • Outdoor unit faults

Outdoor unit doesn't start or makes an unusual noise: burnt start capacitor, faulty fan motor, compressor not responding, or unstable power supply.

  • Error codes and electronic faults

Display or remote shows a code (E1, E5, F3…): failed sensor, faulty PCB, or communication error between indoor and outdoor units.

  • Refrigerant leaks

Oil trace at copper joints, frost on the pipework, or a gradual performance drop: we locate the leak with an electronic detector, repair by copper brazing, then vacuum and recharge.

  • Breaker trips and short circuits

AC trips the breaker on start-up: faulty compressor, fan motor with earth leakage, damaged cable in the trunking, or an undersized breaker.

Our intervention process

A simple, transparent flow — from first message to a fully working unit.

  1. 1
    Initial diagnosis over WhatsApp

Send us the symptom, the error code if any, and photos of the indoor and outdoor units. We assess the likely cause and pack the most probable parts before the visit — avoiding a second trip.

  2. 2
    On-site precise diagnosis

The technician checks filters, measures gas pressure, start-up current and pipe temperatures, and plugs into the electronic diagnostic (on modern boards). Result: a clear diagnosis and confirmed cause.

  3. 3
    Quote before any repair

Before any dismantling or parts order, you get a written quote: cause, required part, labour cost, timeline and warranty. Work only starts once you approve.

  4. 4
    Repair and replacement

Capacitor swap, evaporator clean, drain unblock, copper leak brazing, control board reprogramming, or compressor replacement when required — with proper tools and OEM or approved-equivalent parts.

  5. 5
    Vacuum and refrigerant recharge

After any repair that opens the circuit (compressor, brazing…), we vacuum the lines for at least 30 minutes with a proper pump, then recharge refrigerant to the gram on an electronic scale.

  6. 6
    Testing and warranty

We run the AC for 20 minutes, measure delta-T, pressures and consumption — confirming the original performance is back. You receive an intervention record with a 2-year warranty on parts and labour.

Signs you need this service

If you notice any of these symptoms, get in touch fast — waiting typically makes the repair more expensive.

  • The AC runs but no longer cools
  • Water drips from the indoor unit
  • Outdoor unit isn't spinning or makes an unusual noise
  • The AC trips the home breaker
  • An error code appears on the display or remote
  • Frost building up on the copper pipes
  • Burnt smell or melting plastic odour
  • Electricity bill doubled in one month

Frequently asked questions about this service

Any other question? Send us a message on WhatsApp.

Why does my AC run but not cool?
Most common causes in order: clogged filter (10-minute fix), gas undercharge from a leak (search and repair), iced-over evaporator (often caused by the filter or gas), weak compressor (costly replacement). A real diagnosis can't be done remotely — pressures and temperatures must be measured.
Why is water dripping from my AC?
3 main causes: blocked drain (algae or insects) — 80% of cases, wrong slope from install (original fitting fault), or an evaporator that iced up and is now melting (gas undercharge). A drain unblock resolves the fault on the first visit in most cases.
What do E1, E5 or F3 error codes mean?
Codes vary by manufacturer. Broadly: E1 = indoor/outdoor comm error, E5 = failed temperature sensor, F3 = low pressure (gas undercharge). Photograph the display and send brand + code on WhatsApp — we'll indicate the likely cause.
Can a burnt compressor be repaired or must it be replaced?
A compressor isn't repaired, it's replaced. Cost between 2000 and 8000 MAD depending on size and brand, plus vacuum, drier change and refrigerant recharge. On a unit older than 8 years we sometimes recommend replacing the whole AC — we work the numbers through with you.
How long does a repair take?
Simple faults (drain, filters, capacitor): 30-90 minutes, single visit. Gas leak or compressor replacement: a full day, sometimes two visits (diagnosis then repair once the part arrives). Rare electronic boards: up to a week for parts.
Is the repair guaranteed?
Yes — 2-year warranty on new parts and labour. If the same fault comes back within that period, we return free of charge. This warranty doesn't cover new faults on other components.
Do you cover emergencies (restaurant, hotel, display)?
Yes — emergencies covered 7 days a week. Reach us directly on WhatsApp with clear photos and you jump ahead of regular bookings. Please don't open the unit yourself; send us the model and any error code.
How do I avoid future breakdowns?
3 simple rules: clean the filters monthly, book technical maintenance twice a year (especially before summer), and avoid very low setpoints run continuously (18 °C and below). See the AC maintenance page — an annual contract cuts breakdowns by around 70%.
